I love this video. Thank you so much for it. It's showing a successful communication. No caveats. Just everything got resolved correctly. When you are a socially awkward non-native speaker, nothing makes your day as much as just a normal daily situation that went through as it was supposed to...
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
nice clase de inglés post office conversation y te miras bonita! how do you fix tu hair ❤
And thank you, too)))🙏🌞
This type of video is very helpful ty
I love the way you teach, and would be pretty great if you could teach us words like stepping stone, setting stone , a stone throw away.
Evelyn, what nail polish brand do you use💅 ? 😢
I give up English 🤣🤣🤣
😤😡
Kevin and Liza are pointing out to your mistakes with respect. Admit it. You should thank them instead because they want you to teach correctly . You can collaborate with them. It is not wrong to make mistakes. What is worse is the fact that you don't want to admit it. Face it and accept the truth. What is more, look how you are talking. You are literally nervous. Calm down!! Take it easy. Even though you are a doctoral professor, it doesn't mean you can teach properly. Culture of accepting criticism is a remedy to our selves.
What a good comment.
You have to accept that you made a terrible mistake by not knowing the word potable, which is a pretty common word in English. By the way "potable" is a common word in Spanish too.
Spanish is not English
@@Cotita it is common in English too. I live in the US and I asked people here and they know that potable is drinkable water.
@@Cotita her problem is that she is a not a well-read person. If you want to become a teacher you have to read a lot of literature, linguistics, philosophy and history, otherwise she is going to make this video like she doesn't know the word potable. It is pretty obvious to me that her level of knowledge of different subjects is low. Her videos are the proof of that.
@@frederickwalzer5555 No, you're wrong and I'll explain you why, English has Germanic and Latinate equivalents, but the Germanic words are always the most common in conversational English, and the Latinate equivalents, which happen to have extremely common cognates in Romance languages just like Spanish, are words that are most commonly used in formal, scientific, or academic situations. If she said that the word "commence" is not as common as "begin" or "start" which is objectively true, you'd be like "oh, you're not well-read, because the word commence is common even in Spanish (comenzar)"
@@Cotita it has nothing to do with the Germanic or Latin origins. The point is that potable is a common word in English. Don't justify her lack of vocabulary in English. As a native speaker with higher education, she is supposed to know the new words and old-fashioned words. Especially if she wants to teach ESL.
If you want to sound like a robot 🤖 and not like a real person, don't follow Evelyn.
Second Nature, Rush.
Can’t tell if you were in character or you really had a bad day. Either way hope you have a great day!
Why is he saying it's not correct then changes his mind abruptly XD so fickle ngl
Difficult to understand the message you are going to emphasise. Better to make a direct comment on correcting your English.
It is nice to see you outdoors it seems you enjoy nature. Again it is quite clever to combine your walks with the making of short videos that can reach the whole world apparently. I am seeing you from Greece.
Speaking English has become second nature to me.
Everyone can make mistakes, but you should check before you post 😁
Giiiiirrrrrl ♥♥
There is no right or wrong way to pronounce words in English😂 there are so many dialects, differences, and Accents in English that there are so many different ways to say the same thing for example tomAto tomeitow😂 unless we all can come together and agree on a standardized pronunciation and spelling preferably a different alphabet, syllabary or writing system, there wouldn't be any trouble with how to pronounce a word in all the Karen's out there won't get offended😂 and the world will be a much happier place
Why haven't you taken down this video yet? Even the learners corrected you before Kevin and Liza 😂
hit back at them i saw them critisizing you on their youtube though you were completely correct
Even more beautiful wearing shades!
❤❤❤
Youglish gives 3 out of 27 for "What year were you born in?", so it is used. the problem is that English is not regulated by any government at all. so it is going to be a neverending war.
They are already annoying you, Evelyn 😄 I saw their last video about you. Are you going to answer them seriously?
My comment is less about the video, and more about that neat poster behind you full of art history! How does the sentence "It is less about ignoring..." end? Thank you!
Canadians are very polite people so they never use direct words so when they say hes out of his rocker means has low iq
Liza and Kevin talk like a robot 🤖, specially liza, I don't like the way she speaks.
I got 4
Now i'am confused how to pronounce this word )
The one he says is the most common is wrong (as he says at the beginning of the short)
There appears to be something wrong with the clip you used. The clip and the original YT video do not match. Please check the video again. The relevant part is at 02:03.
The videos don’t match because EFE edited their original video after I posted this short video. I have the screen recording of their original upload, from when it hadn’t been edited yet, and I will post that video if the creator accuses me of publishing deepfake footage again.
I see. Then they must have noticed their slip of tongue after they had posted the video. You know, nobody is infallible nor EFE. Peace… 🖖
@@enderkazakli9557If that's the case you should say that to them when they critique slips of the tongue, but you can't because if you do they will ban you. Peace
@@Cotita I will. I promise. But, “the Americans do not know what flatware is” is not a slip of tongue. It appears that it’s just a baseless claim and is wrong. That’s it.
@@enderkazakli9557 I never said that the example you just gave was a slip of the tongue, I said they critique slips of the tongue, but never said that everything they critique is. Not only that, but they also critique things that they do themselves.
He's gonna say it's a deepfake lol 🗿
Lol
You should offer them to review their scripts as a way of quality check.
He actually used the American pronunciation, which he said at first is wrong 😅.
MM/DD/YYYY
❤❤❤
❤❤❤
English language has become my 2nd naturr, and my 1st language, the language I’m fluent the most nowadays ;)
I think you are off your rocker and I'm not saying you're stupid
You deserve far more subscribers
She does!
Amazing lesson, Evelyn!! And btw it's very clear you master that skill because of the high quality of your teaching 😁 I wonder if you like other accents like british, australian, etc... and how much do you think the differences between them and the american accent would affect the way we use certain expressions Thank you for always posting precious content!!
nice clase de inglés good pronunciation y te miras cool! with your bebida 😘❤
Hahaha, Biden is the right example.
love this
The beauty, and craziness of an a idiom 😅, so much to see so much to learn!!
Those are more calling people crazy, bless your heart..
Hes off his rocker is about being drunk/ on drugs. Not, hes a few slices short of a loaf
